I'm so frustrated because even though I'm technically savvy, I constantly run into problems that are never explained on any tutorials I see. For me, after I select the Excel table, instead of the dialogue box just going away like it does in this video, another dialogue pops up. This time, it still says "Select Table" at the top, but the field is blank with nothing to select. Under that, there is a field labeled "Workbook" and it has four old workbooks from previous mail merges, but not the one I want. There is an options button, when clicked, it displays checkboxes for "table options". They include "Tables", "Views", "System Tables", and "Synonyms".
That's it. I'm stuck here and cannot move forward at all. I am so frustrated because on the video it's so simple. I follow the instructions exactly, but Word does not work the same way as it does in this video. 🙁

This video really helped. Thank you so much. I do have a question. The only part I am stuck on is when I go to finish and merge, the send to email and shaded out. I can't chose it. I am using Word on Mac. I have Microsoft Office installed.

This is helpful. How do I send the mail merge from a different email account? My outlook has my work email but I also have access to do not reply email accounts that I want to use to send my mail merge. I’m sending over 2,000 emails from mail merge, so I can’t manipulate the “from” section on every single one.

Hello, after following the steps, when choosing to finish the merge and sending the emails – the process seems to occur however no emails are sent. Could it perhaps be to do with the settings of the email account?

Why when I try to pen the excel file, it opens a window saying that I have to open it as text from excel workbook. It did not happened before.
